Lugazi Municipal council is situated 47km by road, East of Kampala along Kampala - Jinja highway in Buikwe District. It is located 23km by road, East of Mukono. It borders with Nkokonjeru Town Council in the south, Wakisi division in the north, Njeru municipal council in the East, and Nagojje sub-county in the west Lugazi Municipality covers an area of 446.64 kms contributed as follows;
Central division = 19.20 kms
Kawolo division = 121.44 kms
Najjembe division = 306.00 kms
