Welcome to Masaka City
Overview
Masaka city is found in the Central Region of Uganda in about 130km south-west of the capital City- Kampala, along the Trans-African highway to Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo (D.R.C). It also provides the main route to the Republic of Tanzania. The center of Masaka City is at longitude 31044.18, East and latitude 0020'28.12, South at the heart of Masaka District and has access routes to different districts of Rakai, Ssembabule, Kalangala, Mpigi, Kalungu, Bukomansimbi and Lwengo which makes it a transport and commercial center for the region. Masaka city has a total area of about 362.41 Sq . Kilometers and an estimate population of about 211,591 people according to current forecasts basing on the census 2014 result
